Max Drexler

Max is a film/video student who has the ability of capturing images with his eyes. He is an artist with an interest in stories related to fleeting adolescence, environmental issues, and infrastructural decay. His special, image-capturing powers have led him to work as a forensic videographer, meaning he looks through crime scenes and is able to discern the exact way the crimes happened. Although his job pays well, Max prefers to use his powers for personal pleasure, making videos about beauitful moments that typically wouldn't be portrayed with a camera. He wears glasses, and without them his power would be much less effective. His bad vision is a type of caveat that deters him from utilizing his power to its fullest potential. Max is considering getting a surgery to fix his eyes, but worries it will get rid of his powers altogether.

With his abilities Max hopes to do good for the world, revealing unknown stories to large audiences. However, crime has been rampant lately, and duty calls. Max is on the scene of different crimes every hour, biking around the city and helping to catch criminals ranging from thieves to murderers. This week he was able to trace a stolen car and helped find someone's missing fish tank. His goal is to leave the city once he's made enough money and settle down in a rural community upstate where he can get a boston terrier and have a garden that he uses to grow vegetables for cooking. He knows it will take time, determined to keep helping the city investigate and solve issues, but has been antsy to leave.
